IDeAL@115

IDeAL@115 - which stands for the Integrated Dementia (Home-based) Assisted Living Project - is located at Block 115 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4. The block consists of one-room rental units, housing vulnerable and lower-income seniors in the estate.

IDeAL@115 provides a platform for seniors who lack social and family and map out their health, financial and social needs by offering healthcare, social care, technology and financial support from various partners, volunteers and government agencies.

IDeAL@115 uses a level of the rental HDB block to and transformed it to serve as facilities that are convenient and accessible for the seniors such as the Administrative Office, Tele-consultation Room, Activity Room and Central Kitchen. These facilities allow the needs of the seniors living around the estate to be met.

IDeAL@115’s purpose is to allow seniors to live in the community independently and age in place for as long as possible with all the support necessary.

Facilities	Description
Administrative Office	The Administrative Office functions as a one stop helpdesk to seniors when they are in need of assistance. It also designed to allow various meetings between different healthcare and assisted living providers, community partners and volunteers to happen. Besides, this office is build with updated technologies like tracking devices and CCTVs to grant the seniors a safe and secure environment to aid their daily lives.
Teleconsultation Room	The Teleconsultation Room allows pro bono doctors, community nurses, counsellors, physiotherapists, psychiatrists and occupational therapists to regularly assess seniors’ health status and to provide immediate care when necessary.
Activity Room	The Activity Room comprises of different daily exercises to engage seniors and keep them occupied.
Central Kitchen	The Central Kitchen uses donated ingredients and allows volunteers to cook healthy meals for seniors.
